The great folks over at Gravitas Ventures sent me a screener to watch…it was for the sci-fi (I wanna throw in horror) film, MEANDER.

WHAT’S THE MOVIE ABOUT?

After getting a car ride from an unknown man, Lisa wakes up in a tube. On her arm is strapped a bracelet with a countdown. She quickly understands that every 10 minutes, fire burns an occupied section. She has no choice but to crawl into safe sections to survive. To know why she’s there and how to get out, Lisa will have to face the memories of her dead daughter…

DID I LIKE IT?

People. I loved it and I hated it!! Why did I hate it? OH. MY. GOSH. It was the movie itself. 🤪  After the lead character gets snatched…she awakes in this metal tube…the only way to get through it all…is to freaking crawl!!!! TALK ABOUT TIGHT SPACES!!!! Not only is there super, tight spaces – but some of the areas are booby trapped!! 😫

PEOPLE. I HAVE A THING FOR TIGHT SPACES…and it’s NOT a good thing. It freaks me out…bad…at the 10 minute mark – I wasn’t sure if I would get through it – – then at the 25 minute mark – – I was thinking, “Maybe I should watch this during the day.” But like Lisa…I kept going…I didn’t quit! 😎  This movie reminded me of 2014’s CRAWL OR DIE. That was hard to watch as well. 😳

I really enjoyed MEANDER…like a lot.

One of my favorite movies I’ve seen in a minute. Lisa was awesome. She was a beast. The storyline was dope! The “stuff” happening to Lisa (I don’t wanna give it away) was insane and a pain in the ass for me. 🤪  It was a great movie and totally worth the watch.
