Earlier today while making breakfast, the family and I decided to finally rent GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE on Prime Video. Yeah, with all this Covid crap — the crew and I missed watching it in theaters.

So, what did the family and I think of the movie?

Let’s start off with my 4 year old son…

It started off good…but with all the talking in the beginning — I think that’s what lost him. He played in his room for the first hour of the movie. 😂 It was weird though cuz he’s a HUGGGEEE fan of the original. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched that with him. Perhaps GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE didn’t have enough ghosts for him.

But the last 30 minutes of the movie definitely brought him back. (no spoilers)

My 7 year old son…I thought if I kept any of them it would be him. WRONG! I lost him as well — — until the last 30 minutes…when all that ‘stuff’ happened — he was glued to the TV — front row!

The wifey…at the end of all it — she said, “Aww, that was a cute movie.” She was fan of Muncher and the little Stay Puft Marshmallow Men.

Now for me — I freaking loved it!!! I thought it was one of the best movies of 2021. I loved the story, the characters, the ghosts, the little Easter eggs from the original. Such a great movie.

Seeing the original cast was too awesome. It really did pull on my emotions. I’m not going to lie — it got the tears rolling down the cheeks…that whole Egon/Ramis ‘love tribute.’ Ohhhhhh man!!!
