The Road to Qatar Returns to Telemundo Deportes for the Final Round of Men’s Qualifying Matches on March 24, March 27 and March 30

Nine Matches to Air Across Telemundo, UNIVERSO, Peacock, TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes App

MIAMI, Fla. – March 22, 2022 – Telemundo Deportes, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup, continues its Road to Qatar with the complete presentation of the final round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with three key match windows on Thursday, March 24; Sunday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 30. Telemundo Deportes will present live coverage of nine matches across Telemundo, UNIVERSO, Peacock, TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes app. 

To complement the match coverage, Telemundo Deportes will present a pre-game special for all matches as well as a post-matchday show with Rumbo al Mundial: Objetivo Qatar, which brings together the latest news, analysis and highlights at the end of each matchday to recap the daily action. In addition, Telemundo Deportes’ social media channels will also present video highlights and recaps, editorial posts, live results and live alerts for all nine matches. 

Telemundo Deportes’ award-winning FIFA World Cup team of commentators will lead the coverage with Andres Cantor alongside Manuel Sol and Carlos Hermosillo. Studio coverage to be led by Miguel Gurwitz and Ana Jurka. Copán Alvarez, Sammy Sadovnik, Karim Mendiburu and Eduardo Biscayart will also be part of the coverage.

At the end of this Final Round, the top three finishing teams will qualify directly to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The fourth-placed team will advance to a FIFA Intercontinental Playoff, scheduled to be played in June 2022.
