Movie Review: ‘PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK’

The boys and I recently made some popcorn and checked out PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK.

A hard-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. The only problem… cats hate dogs!

What did we think of it?

Even though it was my 4yo who kept reminding me it was on Paramount+…and that he wanted to watch it. It was my 8yo who liked it the most.

After it ended, my 8yo looks at me and says, “Dad. That was a really good movie…like really good.” I then asked my 4yo and he says, “It was good.”

As for me…I enjoyed it a lot. I thought the characters were all great and the voice cast was awesome. Did I have any favorites? Yes I did. Ricky Gervais as Ika Chu and Djimon Hounsou.

PAWS OF FURY is a fun watch – make some popcorn and watch it with the kids.
