PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH: Put Your Boots on Because Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek Return to Theaters on December 21

PUSS IN BOOTS: Strap on your botas for Puss in Boots’ adventure this December 21

For the first time in over a decade, DreamWorks Animation brings back the fan-favorite Shrek universe with one of the most popular animated characters of all time, Puss in Boots. The character first appeared in Shrek 2 and instantly became a global, scene stealing sensation.

Audiences will find Puss 11 years after his 2011 solo movie, arrogantly waking up after his eighth death and realizing that he only has one life left. Suddenly, the feline is wondering if he’s forever lost his mojo…and with it, the very essence of what makes him Puss in Boots. “That felt like a great jumping-off point for the character because Puss in Boots is so dramatic,” says DreamWorks Animation president Margie Cohn. “Who is Puss if he can’t be this epic adventurer who laughs in the face of danger? Now that he has felt fear for the very first time, will he be able to overcome that vulnerability to get his mojo back?”

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious Puss in Boots as he embarks on an epic journey with help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek Pinault) and a new unforgettable sidekick, Perrito (Harvey Guillen).
